Family Resource Center

Family Resource Center

The Family Resource Center (FRC) is the hub for all resources Collierville has to offer and a way for our community partners to be more visible and accessible to the families in Collierville. The FRC has physical resources that are available to families of Collierville Schools. Items include toiletries, school supplies, clothing/shoes, and nonperishable food items to name a few. It also serves as a meeting space and is open for small groups. The FRC coordinates holiday programs during Thanksgiving and Christmas to assist families in need.

Mission and Vision

A hand reaches into a brightly colored backpack with a rainbow and clouds design.

Our mission is to provide non-academic support through various school district and community resources. Our goal is to reach the most underserved students and families with a multi-pronged approach which addresses their social-emotional needs as well as physical needs. Our vision is to empower all families and provide parents with resources to help their children achieve their full potential in school. We want students to be equipped to find success in their future by helping them cultivate tools to achieve all their goals.

Programs and Services

Food Assistance

If your family is in a season where you need assistance with food, please reach out to your student’s school counselor or the district social worker. We will go through the process of connecting you with resources to meet your family’s specific need. You may explore options for free or reduced cost breakfast and lunch during the school week with your school counselor. The FRC is also stocked with nonperishable food items that are readily available. If you have questions, please reach out to Bailee Vick for further assistance.

Clothing/Shoe Assistance

If your family is in a season where you need assistance with clothing or shoes, please reach out to your student’s school counselor or the district social worker. We will go through the process of connecting you with resources to meet your specific family’s need. The social worker will be able to connect you with community programs that provide opportunities for assistance. Collierville Schools specifically partners with a local shoe store to assist in providing new shoes that fit and are seasonally appropriate to students who are in need (while supplies last). If you have questions, please reach out to Bailee Vick for further assistance.

FRC Assistance

If your family is in need of any assistance with physical items, please reach out to your student’s school counselor or the district social worker. We will then be able to further discuss your needs and utilize the Family Resource Center’s supplies. Items available are school supplies, backpacks, personal hygiene products, and laundry supplies. If you have questions, please reach out to Bailee Vick for further assistance.
